The Salty Sisters Newsletter is a critical communication tool used by the Salty Sisters to keep our membership apprised of current and future activities and initiatives. The Salty Sisters meet weekly on Wednesdays. Typically, the day begins with sailing at the St Petersburg Sailing Center, followed by a Luncheon at the St Petersburg Yacht Club. Each luncheon includes a Business Meeting chaired by the Captain. During this meeting Officers and Committee Chairmen provide information on current activities and updates on future events to members. The meeting is recorded by a Scribe who creates a draft for the Newsletter. The Copy Editor makes revisions as appropriate to the draft and submits the document to the Captain and Co-Captain for approval. The final layout, including headers, links and additions such as photos, is done by the Senior Editor. The Newsletter is then ready for publication to our website. Our membership is promptly notified that the latest Newsletter Issue is available via Email.
Back issues of the Newsletter provide a valuable historical record. These issues are assembled into a series of chronological Archives that are accessible via year ranges.
