HOW TO APPLY:
1) Applications and a General Information letter will be available March 1, 2018 at the front desks of SPYC downtown and Pass-A-Grille. The completed application for membership, along with a check for $150.00 payable to SALTY SISTERS (which covers educational materials, initiation costs, and dues), should be turned in to the front desk (downtown) by Wednesday, August 1, 2018. (Please address – Attn: Salty Sister Membership Chair.) Due to a limited class size, the applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
2) As the applications are received they will be processed and an Interview and Testing session will be set up on an individual basis when conveniently possible to all parties.
3) After passing both the swim and sailing tests, you will be given a schedule for the education classes which will begin Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
(Please note – Checks will be returned to those who do not
make the class limit or pass the swim or sailing test.)
All testing and Orientation will be held at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center (SPSC), at which time the applicant may learn more about the Salty Sisters and vice versa!
PLEASE MARK THE FOLLOWING DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR:
- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, 2018: Applications must be completed and returned to the front desk downtown. Due to a limited class size, the applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
- WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2018: New Classes will begin. [8 sessions ending Dec. 5 –no class November 21]
