For years, the Salty Sisters used the Picasa Application to organize digital images taken at Salty Events and to make them available to members. Google acquired Picasa and continued to offer it as freeware.  Salty Sisters Picasa-based photo albums of club events go back to October of 2007.   Recently, Google discontinued support for Picasa to focus on its on its successor, Google Photos. As a result, the indexing that allowed users to access photos by date was lost.  Picasa photos are still available but without any index.  The Salty Sisters now use DropBox to provide access for new photo albums.  A project is underway to gradually convert all of the legacy Picasa albums to DropBox. For those who post photos to Picasa, please let Carol Hansen know; she will upload them to DropBox.
